Storyteller Kit Privacy Policy · Effective September 14, 2026

This policy explains how Andromeda Labs LLC (“we”) handles information in Storyteller Kit and these product pages. It applies specifically to Storyteller Kit; other Andromeda Labs apps have their own notices.

Information you choose to provide

We process your sign-in email, account identifier, display name, project membership and role, invitation records, and project settings to run private projects. Project content can include audio, video, photographs, object images, titles, questions, notes, review decisions and follow-ups. The content you record may include personal or sensitive information about you or others.

Recordings on your phone and in the cloud

Original recordings and unshared drafts are stored on the recording device. When you share, compressed viewing copies and associated project information are uploaded so authorized members can participate. During project export, originals may be uploaded temporarily so the producer can assemble the archive. Device loss, damage or app deletion can cause loss of local-only media. Export and keep a separate backup.

Who can see your project

Access is controlled by project membership and role. Producers can review submissions and organize the project. Other members can see media made available to them, including approved submissions. Keep invitation links and codes private. Removing membership prevents future authorized access, but cannot remove copies someone already downloaded or exported.

Why we process information

We use information to authenticate you, manage invitations and permissions, store and share selected media, provide exports, validate purchases, resolve support requests, prevent abuse and maintain the service. Infrastructure providers also process technical records such as IP addresses, request times, device or app information, and errors for delivery, security and reliability.

Services that help us

• Supabase provides authentication, project records, private cloud storage and server functions.
• Apple verifies your identity when you choose Sign in with Apple. You may share your email or use Apple’s private relay address; we receive an account identifier and the name or email Apple provides, not your Apple password. Apple also processes App Store purchases. We receive transaction and entitlement information, not your full payment-card details.
• RevenueCat helps validate packages and measure purchase and paywall activity using app user identifiers, transactions, entitlement status and relevant technical information. We do not send recordings, photos, questions or project names to RevenueCat.
• Netlify hosts these public pages and processes technical request information needed to deliver and protect the website.
• Our email provider processes messages you send for support.

We do not sell your personal information or use your recordings for third-party advertising. These pages contain no advertising trackers or analytics scripts. We may disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect users, address fraud, or defend legal rights.

AI and your content

The current release does not require AI to record, share or export, and automatic AI processing of project content is not enabled. If we introduce optional AI processing, we will explain the data use before you choose it.

Reports and blocking

If you report a story, we store your report, its reason, your account identifier and the referenced story so support can investigate. Blocking hides that member’s shared stories and questions from your view; it does not erase media or recall exported copies.

Retention and deletion

You can delete your Storyteller Kit account in the app’s Settings. For accounts created with Apple, we ask you to confirm with Apple and revoke this app’s Apple authorization as part of deletion. An authentication identity shared with another Andromeda app is retained for that other app; your Storyteller Kit profile and memberships are removed.

Local files remain until you remove them or the app is deleted. Shared cloud media is temporary; your package’s sharing period and export deadline are shown in the app. Originals uploaded for export are retained for up to 30 days. Export before the applicable deadline. Account, membership, transaction, security and support records may be retained as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. Backup copies may persist through the provider’s backup cycle after deletion.

Contact northerncompanysupply@gmail.com to request access, correction, export or deletion of personal information. We may verify your identity before acting. Deleting local files does not by itself delete shared cloud files; deleting a shared copy does not recall another participant’s export. Save an independent copy of anything you want to keep before requesting deletion.

Permissions and consent

Camera and microphone access are used when you choose to record. Photo and file access support items you select or export. Manage permissions in iPhone Settings. Record and share other people only with their permission, and only upload content you have the right to use.

Children

Storyteller Kit is not directed to children under 13. Adults should manage projects involving children and obtain appropriate permission before recording or sharing their information. Contact us if you believe a child’s personal information has been provided improperly.

Security and international processing

We use encrypted network connections and access controls for private projects. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security. Providers may process information in countries other than yours; privacy protections can differ. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights to object to or restrict processing, request portability, or complain to your privacy regulator. Contact us to exercise applicable rights.
