Andromeda Labs LLC

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 26, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Andromeda Labs LLC ("Andromeda Labs," "we," "us," or "our") handles information for our websites, mobile applications, prototypes, beta or TestFlight builds, support channels, and related services. This policy is intended to cover the Andromeda Labs app portfolio generally unless a specific app, feature, or service provides a separate notice.

Our apps are built around focused experiences. Depending on the app and the features you choose, our products may process text, photos, camera input, audio, location context, wellness or nutrition information, educational or family context, creative work, documents, saved preferences, app settings, purchase status, and AI-generated results. Not every app uses every type of information described below.

Information We Collect

We may collect information you provide directly, including your email address, support messages, feedback, app settings, saved items, notes, text prompts, uploaded or captured images, audio recordings, documents, profile details, preferences, and other content you choose to submit in an app or through our website.

Some apps may invite you to provide personal or sensitive context, such as food, wellness, medication-related context, family or child-related details, education materials, location context, creative references, voice, photos, or other media. You should only provide information you are comfortable using with the relevant app.

We may also collect limited technical information automatically, such as device type, operating system, app version, crash reports, diagnostics, performance events, feature usage, approximate region, language settings, install or session identifiers, and similar information needed to operate, secure, debug, and improve our apps and services.

Device Permissions And App Inputs

Our apps may request device permissions only when relevant to a feature you choose to use. Depending on the app, this may include camera, photo library, microphone, location, notifications, files, speech, or health-related permissions. You can usually change these permissions through your device settings.

Camera, photo, audio, document, and location inputs are used to provide the app feature you requested, such as analyzing a user-selected image, processing a recording, creating a saved card, generating a response, or giving context-aware results. We aim to avoid retaining raw photos, audio, or other rich media longer than needed unless the app clearly offers a saved history, library, export, account, diagnostic, or similar feature.

AI Features

Some Andromeda Labs apps use artificial intelligence or machine learning features. When you use those features, the app may process your inputs, selected content, and relevant app context through Andromeda Labs systems or third-party AI service providers so the app can generate, classify, summarize, validate, or format the result you requested.

We design our apps so private provider keys and sensitive routing logic are handled by backend systems where appropriate, not exposed in the app client. We may use backend services to route requests, enforce limits, verify entitlement, prevent abuse, control costs, improve reliability, and protect service credentials.

We do not intentionally use your personal app content to build advertising profiles. We also do not permit service providers to use your personal app content for their own independent marketing purposes.

How We Use Information

We use information to provide and personalize app functionality, generate requested outputs, save user-selected content, process support requests, respond to privacy requests, manage subscriptions and purchases, detect abuse or fraud, maintain safety and reliability, debug crashes, understand product usage, improve our apps, protect our rights, comply with law, and communicate with you when needed.

Purchases And Subscriptions

If you buy an app, subscription, or in-app purchase through Apple or another app store, payment information is processed by that store. We do not receive your full payment card number. We may receive purchase status, subscription status, transaction identifiers, renewal status, entitlement status, app account identifiers, or similar records needed to unlock features, prevent fraud, provide support, and maintain business records.

Health, Wellness, Education, Family, And Location Context

Some Andromeda Labs apps may involve health-adjacent, wellness, nutrition, education, family, child-related, travel, or location-aware experiences. These apps are designed to provide organization, reflection, decision support, coaching, creative assistance, or practical context. They are not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, educational, safety, or emergency advice unless an app explicitly states otherwise and is lawfully authorized to do so.

If an app lets you enter sensitive context, we use that information to provide the relevant feature, maintain safety boundaries, and support the product experience you requested. We do not sell this information, and we do not use it for third-party ad targeting.

Local Storage And Cloud Processing

Some information may be stored locally on your device, such as app settings, saved cards, preferences, history, drafts, cached results, or local profiles. Some features may also use cloud or backend services for account functionality, AI processing, subscriptions, analytics, crash reporting, support, synchronization, entitlement checks, abuse prevention, or secure provider routing.

The exact storage behavior may vary by app and feature. When an app offers delete, reset, export, account, or privacy controls, those controls apply to the information that feature can reasonably manage.

Retention

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, backup integrity, or business records. Local app content may remain on your device until you delete it, reset the app, or uninstall the app. Backend logs and operational records are intended to be limited to what is useful for reliability, security, entitlement, abuse prevention, support, and product operation.

Sharing And Service Providers

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate our apps and business, including hosting, backend infrastructure, analytics, crash reporting, AI processing, email, support, security, payment validation, subscription management, app infrastructure, and development operations. These providers are permitted to process information only as needed to provide services to us.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect users or the public, to investigate fraud, security, or abuse, to enforce our rights, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of business assets.

Tracking And Advertising

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use personal information collected in our apps to track you across other companies' apps or websites for targeted advertising unless we clearly disclose that practice and obtain any consent required by law or platform rules. If an app uses analytics or diagnostics, those tools are intended to help us understand reliability, usage, and product quality.

Your Choices And Privacy Rights

You can control many data practices through app settings, device permissions, platform privacy settings, notification settings, and in-app delete or reset controls where available. You may also contact us to request access, correction, deletion, portability, or other privacy help.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under applicable laws. We will respond to privacy requests as required by law. Some requests may be limited by legal, security, fraud-prevention, business-record, or technical reasons.

Children

Some Andromeda Labs apps may be family-friendly or designed for use by a parent, guardian, teacher, or caregiver. Unless a specific app says otherwise, our apps are not intended for unsupervised use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without appropriate parental consent or another lawful basis. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us without appropriate permission, contact us and we will review the request.

Child-Directed Apps And Additional Safeguards

If an Andromeda Labs app is specifically designed for children, we apply additional privacy safeguards appropriate for child-directed experiences. These safeguards may include limiting data collection to what is reasonably necessary to operate the app, avoiding behavioral advertising, avoiding third-party ad tracking, avoiding public profiles, avoiding social features unless clearly disclosed, and designing the experience so a parent or guardian can understand the app's privacy posture.

Child-directed apps may process a child's age range, grade range, selected interests, parent-provided prompts, drawings, photos, voice, camera input, saved creations, learning context, or similar app content only when needed for the feature being used. We do not knowingly sell children's personal information, and we do not knowingly use children's personal information for targeted advertising.

Where required by law or platform rules, a child-directed app may rely on a parent, guardian, teacher, school, or other authorized adult to provide consent or supervise use. Parents or guardians may contact us to ask what information has been collected from a child, request deletion, or ask that we stop further collection or use, subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, and technical limits.

If a child-directed app uses AI features, the AI processing is intended to support the specific educational, creative, explanatory, or safety-bounded feature in the app. We aim to avoid open-ended child profiling, unnecessary retention of child inputs, and use of child app content for advertising profiles.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No system can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure, and you should use care when deciding what information to submit to any app or online service.

International Users

Andromeda Labs is based in the United States. If you use our apps or websites from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate. These countries may have privacy laws that differ from those in your location.

Third-Party Links And Services

Our apps and websites may link to third-party websites, app stores, support tools, payment systems, or service providers. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for third-party privacy practices.

Changes To This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our apps, services, providers, or legal requirements change. When we update it, we will change the "Last updated" date above. Material changes may also be communicated through an app, website notice, or other reasonable method.
